Dr Mehrdad Honarvar

Dr Mehrdad Honarvar is a cardiologist with over 15 years of experience as a consultant cardiologist. His interests include management of coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular disease, cardiomyopathies and cardiac arrhythmias. He has excellent experience with echocardiography and interventional cardiology.
Dr Honarvar was board certified in cardiology in 2008 and subsequently underwent post graduate fellowship in vascular and interventional cardiology in 2013.
He gained fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and has experience as a consultant cardiologist in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.
Dr Honarvar has interests in teaching, research, quality improvement and clinical leadership. He has over 15 years of experience as an Associate Professor of medical school overseas and has won various national and international awards.
Dr Honarvar practices at Global Cardiology in Karrinyup, Butler, South Lake and Kelmscott.
